• Dr. Visagan Mailachalam of Indonesia Tamil Sangam received the Lifetime Tamil Literary award, expanding Tamil education in Indonesia.
• Switzerland-based poet Dr. Gangaimagan and Singaporean artiste Vicknesvari Vadivalagan were also honored for their contributions.
