Govt Withdraws Jan Vishwas Amendment Bill from Lok Sabha

•The government withdrew the Jan Vishwas (Amendment Of Provisions) Bill, 2025, from the Lok Sabha.
•Union Commerce Minister Piyush Goyal withdrew the bill after seeking House permission.
•The bill aimed to amend certain enactments for decriminalising and rationalising offences.
•It sought to further enhance trust-based governance.
•Officials stated the bill would be reintroduced after incorporating recommendations from the Lok Sabha select committee.
