Gurugram Establishes Dedicated Road Development Cell for Infrastructure & Grievances

• Municipal Corporation, Gurugram (MCG) formed a Road Development Cell (RDC) for focused planning, execution, monitoring, and grievance redressal of road infrastructure.
• The RDC will function under Municipal Commissioner Pradeep Dahiya, with Additional Commissioner-II Ankita Choudhary as vice-chairperson.
• It will monitor major road projects, including those costing Rs 25 lakh and above, ensuring quality, timelines, and financial progress.
• The cell is responsible for timely resolution of road-related grievances received via platforms like CHS/GMDA portal, MCG app, and “Mhari Sadak”.
• RDC meetings will be held fortnightly to review projects and complaints, submitting consolidated reports to authorities.
