India's Auto Retail Hits Record High in Feb 2026: FADA Reports Best-Ever Growth

•February 2026 marked the "best-ever February" for India's auto retail across two-wheelers, three-wheelers, CVs, PVs, tractors, and overall sales, according to FADA.
•Total vehicle retails reached 24.09 lakh units, registering a 25.62% year-on-year growth and surpassing the previous best February of 2024.
•Two-wheelers grew by 25.02%, passenger vehicles by 26.12%, and commercial vehicles by 28.89%; tractors were the fastest-growing segment at 36.35%.
•Growth was fueled by improved rural liquidity, GST revisions, attractive marketing schemes, the marriage season, and new product introductions.
•FADA anticipates a 75.51% growth in March 2026, driven by festivals like Navratri, Ramzan, Gudi Padwa, and year-end buying.
