Andhra Pradesh Achieves Record-Breaking GST Collection of Rs 3,061 Crore in February
•Andhra Pradesh recorded its highest-ever Goods and Services Tax (GST) collection for February, reaching Rs 3,061 crore.
•This marks a significant achievement since the inception of the GST regime in 2017, despite rate reductions on essentials and withdrawal of GST on insurance.
•Net GST collections for February 2026 grew by 5.45% compared to February 2025, even with reduced tax rates and withdrawn compensation cess.
•State GST (SGST) collections increased by 2.96% to Rs 1,251 crore, and Integrated GST (IGST) settlements rose by 7.2% to over Rs 1,809 crore.
•Total tax collections across all sectors in February 2026 reached Rs 4,634 crore, driven by advanced data analytics, AI-driven oversight, and improved compliance.
