India's Managed Funds AUM to Double to Rs 455 Lakh Crore by 2030: Crisil Report
•India's managed funds industry's AUM is projected to reach Rs 455 lakh crore by March 2030, more than double from current levels.
•The total assets of managed investments, including mutual funds and AIFs, stood at Rs 212 lakh crore as of March 2025, accounting for 64% of GDP.
•Managed fund assets grew at an 18% CAGR over five years ending March 2025, outpacing time deposits (11%).
•Alternative Investment Funds (AIFs) are the fastest-growing segment, with commitments rising from Rs 3.70 lakh crore in March 2020 to Rs 13.49 lakh crore in March 2025.
•REITs and InvITs also saw significant growth, with combined assets reaching Rs 7.78 lakh crore in March 2025 from Rs 2.60 lakh crore in March 2020.
