India's Managed Funds AUM to Double to Rs 455 Lakh Crore by 2030: Crisil Report

• India's managed funds industry's AUM is projected to reach Rs 455 lakh crore by March 2030, more than double from current levels.
• The total assets of managed investments, including mutual funds and AIFs, stood at Rs 212 lakh crore as of March 2025, accounting for 64% of GDP.
• Managed fund assets grew at an 18% CAGR over five years ending March 2025, outpacing time deposits (11%).
• Alternative Investment Funds (AIFs) are the fastest-growing segment, with commitments rising from Rs 3.70 lakh crore in March 2020 to Rs 13.49 lakh crore in March 2025.
• REITs and InvITs also saw significant growth, with combined assets reaching Rs 7.78 lakh crore in March 2025 from Rs 2.60 lakh crore in March 2020.
