Jharkhand: Opium, Spurious Liquor Seized; 5 Arrested in Raids

•Police seized 4.53 kg of opium and 1,318 bottles of spurious foreign liquor in Jharkhand.
•Five people were arrested in separate operations in Chatra and Palamu districts.
•A spurious liquor manufacturing unit was busted in Chatra's Postiya village, apprehending three persons.
•The liquor unit had been operating for four months, producing liquor under a branded label, with seized liquor worth Rs 5 lakh.
•In Palamu, two persons were arrested, and 4.530 kg of opium, valued at Rs 22.65 lakh, was seized.
