JNU Shines in QS Rankings: VC Congratulates Faculty, Students on Global Recognition
•Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) secured 26th rank globally in "Development Studies" in the latest QS World University Rankings by Subject, rising from 29th in 2025.
•Vice Chancellor Santishree Dhulipudi Pandit congratulated faculty, staff, and students, highlighting JNU's consistent high rankings for three years.
•Out of 23 entries, Development Studies is in the top 50, three subjects are in the top 100, and eight are in the top 200.
•JNU's rank in Politics and International Studies dipped to 95 from 75 last year, and Arts and Humanities dropped from 177 to 260.
•Conversely, JNU's Sociology rank improved significantly to 86 from 101-150.
