JNU Shines in QS Rankings: VC Congratulates Faculty, Students on Global Recognition

• Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) secured 26th rank globally in "Development Studies" in the latest QS World University Rankings by Subject, rising from 29th in 2025.
• Vice Chancellor Santishree Dhulipudi Pandit congratulated faculty, staff, and students, highlighting JNU's consistent high rankings for three years.
• Out of 23 entries, Development Studies is in the top 50, three subjects are in the top 100, and eight are in the top 200.
• JNU's rank in Politics and International Studies dipped to 95 from 75 last year, and Arts and Humanities dropped from 177 to 260.
• Conversely, JNU's Sociology rank improved significantly to 86 from 101-150.
