Kerala govt to take 'appropriate decision' on Sabarimala women entry: CPI(M)

CPI(M) state secretary M V Govindan stated the LDF government will give an "appropriate response" in the Supreme Court.
•
Decision will be based on examining legal and constitutional aspects of women's entry into Sabarimala.
•
Govindan clarified the apex court's seven queries do not directly ask whether women should be allowed entry.
•
CPI(M) maintains its stand has not changed and considers the feelings of believers/devotees.
•
Travancore Devaswom Board will file an affidavit to preserve existing traditions at the Lord Ayyappa temple.
