Sabarimala: TDB to file affidavit in SC to protect temple traditions

Travancore Devaswom Board (TDB) to file an affidavit in the Supreme Court to preserve existing traditions at Sabarimala Temple.

The affidavit will address petitions related to the entry of women of menstruating age.

TDB President K Jayakumar stated the board's decision to maintain the current tradition, emphasizing its mandate to protect temple traditions.

The board does not support the Supreme Court's 2018 decision allowing entry of women of menstrual age.
•
The affidavit must be submitted to the Supreme Court before March 14.
