•The directive came as the HC admitted the state government’s appeal against a sub-court decision dismissing its ownership claim.
•Notice issued to Ayana Charitable Trust (under Believers Church) and Social Impact Assessment Study Unit.
•Dispute arose after a special officer recommended resumption of Cheruvally estate land in 2015.
•Ayana Charitable Trust claims rightful purchase from Harrison Malayalam in 2005 and ownership through adverse possession.
