Khandu: Hydropower Key to Arunachal's Growth; Resolves Project Bottlenecks
•CM Pema Khandu emphasized hydropower as the primary driver for Arunachal Pradesh's revenue and long-term development.
•Chaired the 10th steering committee meeting to review project progress and resolve local, procedural, and administrative bottlenecks.
•Met with CMDs of CPSUs and IPPs to address land and local issues concerning ongoing and upcoming hydroelectric projects.
•Handed over LADF cheques totaling Rs 23.16 crore for Pare hydroelectric project and Rs 10.25 crore for Panyor Lower hydroelectric project to affected districts.
•State government decided to provide 1% LADF from free power for Panyor Lower project, despite its commissioning before LADF provisions.
