KSU Activists Accused of Attacking Minister Veena George Sent to Police Custody
•Five KSU activists accused of "attempting to murder" Kerala Health Minister Veena George sent to two days' police custody.
•Judicial First Class Magistrate E V Raphael granted custody to Kannur Railway police for M C Athul, V V Akshay, Bithul Balan, Mubas H, and Ahmed Yassin.
•The incident occurred on February 25 at Kannur Railway Station during a KSU protest over alleged medical negligence.
•Minister Veena George complained of neck pain, was hospitalized, and later discharged; police registered an attempt to murder case.
