Man Dies by Suicide in Thane After Dispute with Live-in Partner; Probe Underway

• A 23-year-old man, Pintu Deva Shrivas, died by suicide in Thane's Dombivli (East) area.
• The incident occurred in front of his live-in partner following a dispute.
• Shrivas, allegedly under the influence of alcohol, fought with his partner over suspected infidelity, abusing and assaulting her.
• He injured himself with a glass bottle before hanging himself with her clothes.
• Police have registered a case of accidental death, and a probe is underway.
