Man gets life imprisonment for killing relative over property dispute in UP

• A 60-year-old man, Parmod Kumar, was sentenced to life imprisonment for murdering his brother's wife, Santosh, over a property dispute.
• Additional District and Sessions Judge Vishnu Chandra Vaish convicted Kumar under Sections 302 (murder) and 201 (causing disappearance of evidence) of the IPC.
• The court also imposed a fine of Rs 31,000 on Parmod Kumar.
• Kumar's wife was acquitted due to lack of evidence in the case.
• Santosh was murdered by her brother-in-law in an attempt to grab property, and the accused initially filed a false complaint.
