Massive 1462 kg Gold Reserve Discovered in Odisha's Mayurbhanj District

•Odisha's Mayurbhanj district has a newly discovered gold reserve of 1462 kg, announced Minister Bibhuti Bhusan Jena.
•The Geological Survey of India (GSI) conducted the survey in the Bangiriposhi assembly constituency.
•The Madanashi-Kanjia area also holds 17.06 million tons of copper reserves.
•Previously, 1,996 kg of gold was found in Deogarh and Keonjhar districts, with 1,685 kg in Adash (Deogarh) and 311.07 kg in Gopur (Keonjhar).
•Gold is also scattered across Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Sundargarh, Koraput, Malkangiri, Angul, Sambalpur, and Deogarh districts.
