Massive 1462 kg Gold Reserve Discovered in Odisha's Mayurbhanj District

Odisha's Mayurbhanj district has a newly discovered gold reserve of 1462 kg, announced Minister Bibhuti Bhusan Jena.
•
The Geological Survey of India (GSI) conducted the survey in the Bangiriposhi assembly constituency.
•
The Madanashi-Kanjia area also holds 17.06 million tons of copper reserves.
•
Previously, 1,996 kg of gold was found in Deogarh and Keonjhar districts, with 1,685 kg in Adash (Deogarh) and 311.07 kg in Gopur (Keonjhar).
•
Gold is also scattered across Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Sundargarh, Koraput, Malkangiri, Angul, Sambalpur, and Deogarh districts.
