Massive Drug Bust: Rs 225 Cr Hashish Oil Seized in Odisha's Koraput Forest

•Hashish oil worth Rs 225 crore seized from a manufacturing unit in Jholaput forest, Koraput district.
•Over 1,800 litres of hashish oil, extracted from ganja, recovered near the Andhra Pradesh border.
•Accused fled the scene, but equipment used in manufacturing was confiscated; efforts underway to arrest them.
•Traffickers are converting ganja into hashish oil for easier transport and higher profits, as one litre fetches 25 times the price of a kg of ganja.
•In a separate operation, 1,143 kg of ganja worth Rs 5 crore seized, and four individuals, including two from Haryana, arrested.
