Mumbai Customs Seizes Rs 23 Cr Hydroponic Weed from Bangkok Passengers

• Mumbai Customs seized hydroponic weed worth over Rs 23 crore from three passengers arriving from Bangkok.
• The seizure was made at Mumbai airport following spot checks and Advance Passenger Information System profiling.
• A total of 23.593 kilograms of hydroponic weed was recovered from the passengers.
• The three passengers were arrested under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act.
• Customs also registered three separate cases involving gold smuggling and one case of illegal medicine export.
