Murder Accused Amjad Shot Dead in UP Police Encounter

• He opened fire on a police team during a vehicle check, leading to retaliatory firing.
• Amjad was wanted in approximately 40 cases of loot and murder across Haryana, Delhi, and Rajasthan.
• Cases were also filed against him in several western UP districts including Muzaffarnagar, Noida, Ghaziabad, and Meerut.
• A sub-inspector and a constable sustained bullet injuries but are in stable condition; a pistol and motorcycle were seized.
