New Zealand women’s cricketer Lauren Down announced her retirement from all forms of cricket at the age of 30.

The right-handed batter debuted for New Zealand in an ODI in 2018 and T20I in 2020.

Down played 35 ODIs, scoring 486 runs with three half-centuries, and 13 T20Is, scoring 93 runs.
•
She expressed gratitude for representing her country and looked forward to watching from the sidelines.

Down had a successful career with Auckland Hearts, contributing to five Hallyburton Johnstone Shield campaigns.
