Odisha Hikes AYUSH Doctors' Salaries: Up to Rs 40,000 Increase Approved

• Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi approved a proposal to enhance salaries of contractual AYUSH doctors under NHM in Odisha.
• Salary hikes range from Rs 20,000 to Rs 40,000 per month, based on years of service.
• Doctors with less than 5 years experience get Rs 20,000 hike (new salary Rs 56,948); 5-10 years get Rs 25,000 hike (new salary Rs 74,467).
• Those with 10-15 years experience receive Rs 30,000 hike (new salary Rs 80,467); over 15 years get Rs 40,000 hike (new salary Rs 91,467).
• The decision benefits 2,912 AYUSH doctors and will cost the state exchequer an additional Rs 1 crore annually.
