Odisha Police arrests Bengal man in Rs 50 lakh online fraud case

• Odisha Cyber Police arrested Arabinda Paul (46) from Hooghly, West Bengal, for alleged involvement in an online cheating case.
• The accused and his associates allegedly defrauded a complainant of Rs 50.16 lakh through a fake online investment platform.
• Victim was instructed to transfer money to non-existent company bank accounts, promising high returns.
• Funds were transferred to six different bank accounts across West Bengal, Gujarat, and Maharashtra, with over Rs 1 lakh going to Paul's account.
• Arabinda Paul has 17 pending cases against him in various police stations.
