Olectra Secures LOI for 1,085 Electric Buses from TGSRTC Under PM E-DRIVE

• Olectra Greentech Ltd received a Letter of Intent from TGSRTC via Evey Trans Pvt Ltd for 1,085 electric buses.
• The order is part of the PM E-DRIVE initiative, aiming to bolster Hyderabad's public transport with clean, efficient, and sustainable solutions.
• Olectra's Managing Director Mahesh Babu emphasized the company's commitment to 'Make in India' and world-class electric bus manufacturing.
• The 12-meter low-floor buses will come in AC and non-AC variants, designed for Indian road conditions and urban operations.
• Buses will feature advanced air suspension, high-capacity Lithium-ion batteries with over 250 km range, 45-minute opportunity charging, and wheelchair accommodation.
