Govt Recognizes Over 2 Lakh Startups, Creating 21 Lakh+ Jobs

• Over 2 lakh entities recognized as startups by the government, creating over 21 lakh jobs and eligible for income tax incentives.
• The Production Linked Incentive (PLI) scheme has seen over Rs 1.88 lakh crore investment, Rs 17 lakh crore incremental production/sales, 12.3 lakh jobs, and Rs 7.5 lakh crore in exports.
• Open Network for Digital Commerce (ONDC) processed over 326 million orders by October 2025, with average daily transactions reaching about 590,000.
• More than 47,000 compliances have been reduced to improve ease of doing business, including simplification, digitization, decriminalization, and removal of redundant rules.
• India attracted USD 748.38 billion in FDI over the last 11 financial years (2014-25), a 143% increase compared to the previous 11 years.
