Over 2.2 Million Public Grievances Received in 2024-25, Rajya Sabha Informed

• A total of 2,223,186 public grievances were registered through the CPGRAMS portal in 2024-25.
• Minister Jitendra Singh informed the Rajya Sabha about the figures, highlighting the online system for grievances against government departments.
• In 2024-25, 2,302,236 grievances (including carried forward) were disposed of, with an average disposal time of 15 days for central ministries/departments and 64 days for state/UT governments.
• The CPGRAMS system provides role-based access to all central ministries/departments and state/UT governments for processing grievances.
• The government has implemented 10-Step Reforms under CPGRAMS to reduce pendency and improve the efficiency of the grievance redressal process.
