Pothole Jolt 'Revives' Brain-Dead Woman in UP's Pilibhit

Vinita Shukla, 50, from Pilibhit, UP, declared brain-dead, was discharged from a Bareilly hospital.

While being transported home for last rites, the ambulance hit a pothole near Hafizganj, causing her to start breathing normally.
•
At Neurocity Hospital, Dr Rakesh Singh diagnosed neurotoxin poisoning (suspected snake/insect bite), not high blood pressure.
•
Her Glasgow Coma Scale score was 3, with absent brainstem reflexes, indicating severe neurological suppression.
•
Targeted treatment for the toxin led to her full recovery in about 12 days, despite family calling it a 'miracle'.
