Property Dealer Arrested as Mastermind in Himachal CM Aide's Son Kidnap Plot

• Manish Verma, a property dealer and contractor, identified as the main conspirator in the attempted kidnapping and robbery of Aaryan Chauhan, son of Himachal Pradesh CM's media advisor.
• The incident occurred on March 20 near Tarapur village, where unidentified individuals tried to kidnap Aaryan Chauhan, who is also the general secretary of Himachal Pradesh Youth Congress.
• Chauhan managed to escape, leading to a police investigation based on his complaint.
• Two other accused, Charanjeet Singh and Tashi Negi, were arrested on March 23, with further investigation leading to Verma's arrest.
• Verma, who had 10 live cartridges recovered from him, has a history of criminal cases including drug possession, theft, and another kidnapping and assault case.
