Puducherry's Final Voter List 2026 Released: Women Voters Outnumber Men

• Puducherry's Department of Elections released the final voter lists for all 30 Assembly constituencies.
• The total number of voters in the Union Territory is 9.44 lakh, with 5 lakh women, 4.44 lakh men, and 139 third-gender voters.
• A Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls was conducted from October 27, 2025, to February 14, 2026, using January 1, 2026, as the qualifying date.
• The revision included 100% physical verification by Booth Level Officers, leading to the removal of 1.03 lakh ineligible voters.
• During the claims and objections period, 42,719 eligible electors were added, and 16,619 ineligible electors were deleted.
