Punjab Police Raids 587 Locations, Arrests 183 in Anti-Gangster Campaign

• Punjab Police conducted 587 raids and arrested 183 persons on the 35th day of its anti-gangster campaign “Gangstran Te Vaar”.
• The campaign, launched on January 20, aims to make the state gangster-free under CM Bhagwant Singh Mann's directions.
• Three weapons were recovered during the raids, bringing the total arrests under the campaign to 11,265.
• Preventive action was taken against 150 persons, and seven proclaimed offenders were arrested.
• Police also arrested 83 drug smugglers, recovering heroin, poppy husk, and intoxicant tablets under the “Yudh Nashian Virudh” drive.
