Puri Jagannath Temple Closes 4 Hours for 'Banakalagi' Ritual Today

•Puri Jagannath temple will remain closed for four hours on Thursday, March 5.
•The closure is from 6 pm to 10 pm for the special 'Banakalagi' ritual.
•'Banakalagi' involves re-coloring the faces of Lord Balabhadra, Devi Subhadra, and Lord Jagannath.
•Dutta Mohapatra servitors perform the ritual using natural colors, musk, and camphor.
•SJTA Chief Administrator Arabinda Padhee issued show-cause notices to three servitors for misconduct.
