RBI Reports ₹6.47 Lakh Cr Overnight Market Volume; Significant Liquidity Absorption

•Overnight Segment recorded a total volume of ₹6,47,300.23 crore with a weighted average rate of 4.90% on March 02, 2026.
•Net liquidity absorbed from today’s operations (LAF, MSF, SDF) stood at ₹3,88,871.00 crore.
•Overall net liquidity absorbed, including outstanding operations, was ₹2,64,926.62 crore.
•Scheduled Commercial Banks held cash balances of ₹8,19,096.00 crore with RBI as on March 02, 2026.
•Net durable liquidity showed a surplus of ₹5,60,171.00 crore as on February 15, 2026.
