Nepali Congress (NC) won 17 seats, CPN-UML 8, and NCP 7 in direct voting.

Results for 161 out of 165 direct voting seats declared; remaining four expected soon.

RSP leads proportionate voting with 3,789,803 votes, followed by NC and CPN-UML.

Balendra Shah is set to become Nepal's first Madhesi and youngest prime minister.
