Nepal: RSP Dominates Proportional Representation Votes, Nears Two-Thirds Majority

•Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) secured the highest votes in Nepal's proportional representation (PR) category.
•RSP received 51,57,130 votes out of 1,07,85,876 total counted PR votes, as per the Election Commission.
•The party previously won 125 out of 165 direct voting seats in the House of Representatives on March 5.
•RSP's total projected seats in the 275-member HoR are around 183, combining direct and PR votes.
•This gives RSP a simple majority and brings it close to a two-thirds majority, crucial for constitutional amendments.
