SC Raps Centre, Imposes Rs 25,000 Fine for Challenging CISF Official's Reinstatement

Supreme Court imposed Rs 25,000 cost on Centre for challenging a Punjab and Haryana High Court order.

The High Court had set aside the dismissal of a CISF official, finding the punishment disproportionate.
