Shinde: Maharashtra to power India's $5T economy with $1.5T GDP contribution

•Deputy CM Eknath Shinde announced Maharashtra's goal to contribute USD 1.5 trillion to India's USD 5 trillion economy by FY27.
•The state remains India's leading economic powerhouse due to strong investments, industrial expansion, and world-class infrastructure.
•Expanding infrastructure like Mumbai Coastal Road, Atal Setu, Navi Mumbai International Airport boosts activity and job creation.
•Investments of Rs 2.96 lakh crore by 2026 are expected to generate nearly 3 lakh jobs.
•Maharashtra signed MoUs worth Rs 30 lakh crore at global forums like Davos, with over 75% conversion rate.
