SJVN Powers Up Assam: 70 MW Dhubri Solar Project Begins Electricity Supply
- •State-owned SJVN has commenced electricity supply from its 70 megawatt Dhubri solar power plant in Assam.
- •The project, executed by SJVN Green Energy Limited (SGEL), is located on 330 acres of lease-based land in Dhubri.
- •Developed at a cost of Rs 367.44 crore, the plant is projected to generate 141.13 million units in its first year.
- •Over 25 years, the project is expected to produce approximately 3,230 million units of electricity.
- •The power will be supplied to Assam Power Distribution Company Limited (APDCL) at a maximum usage charge of Rs 3.92 per unit, ensuring affordable and clean energy.
