Skeletal Remains of Girl Missing Since December Found in Pilibhit Canal

• Skeletal remains believed to be of an 18-year-old girl, Roshni, missing since December, were found in a Pilibhit canal.
• Roshni left her home on December 28, 2025, after an argument with her family and reportedly jumped into the Hardoi branch canal.
• Her father, Ramesh Rajput, and other family members identified the remains based on clothing and other evidence.
• Despite extensive search operations at the time, Roshni could not be traced.
• The body had completely decomposed after 82 days, leaving only the skeletal structure, which has been sent for forensic examination.
