SKM Urges CM Siddaramaiah to Press Centre on MSP Law, Loan Waiver

•Sanyukt Kisan Morcha (SKM) urged Karnataka CM Siddaramaiah to advocate for farmers' demands with the Centre.
•Key demands include a legal guarantee for Minimum Support Price (MSP) for all crops and full procurement.
•SKM called for implementing the MS Swaminathan Commission's formula: MSP at 1.5 times production cost.
•Other demands: complete farm loan waiver, re-enactment of 2013 Land Acquisition Act, and higher FRP for sugarcane.
•SKM also sought climate compensation for losses due to droughts/floods and reforms in crop insurance.
