Stalin inaugurates Tata's TN plant, drives first Range Rover Evoque

• Tamil Nadu CM M K Stalin inaugurated Tata Motors Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) factory at Panapakkam, Ranipet.
• Stalin drove the first Range Rover Evoque with Tata Sons chairman N Chandrasekaran.
• The 470-acre plant is India's first JLR luxury model manufacturing facility.
• The Rs 9,000 crore plant, with MoU signed in March 2024, aims for 'Make in Tamil Nadu' initiative.
• The facility will create 5,000 direct jobs and produce next-generation vehicles for domestic and international markets.
