CM Stalin Drives First Range Rover Evoque from New Tamil Nadu Plant

• Chief Minister M.K. Stalin inaugurated and test-drove the first Range Rover Evoque from Tata Motors' new greenfield plant in Panapakkam, Ranipet district.
• The plant, built in just 16 months, is located approximately 90 kilometers from Chennai and represents a 9000 crore rupee investment.
• Initially, the plant will perform CKD assembly of the Range Rover Evoque, with an ex-showroom price exceeding 65 lakh rupees.
• The facility is expected to create 5000 direct jobs and thousands of indirect employment opportunities, with an annual production capacity of 2.5 to 3 lakh vehicles.
• This Ranipet plant is Tata Motors' second-largest manufacturing hub in South India and integrates India into JLR's global manufacturing network.
