Student Arrested for Sexually Abusing 5-Year-Old, Filming Act in Telangana

• A 19-year-old student was arrested in Hyderabad for allegedly sexually abusing a five-year-old girl.
• The accused filmed the act and uploaded it online, which was detected by the Child Protection Unit of Telangana Cyber Security Bureau (TGCSB).
• The perpetrator is identified as the girl’s cousin, whom she innocently called ‘bhayya’ (brother).
• The accused confessed to the crime, which he committed by taking the victim to the house terrace during frequent visits.
• A case has been registered under the IT Act and POCSO Act; the accused is in judicial custody, and the child is receiving support.
