Swan Defence Secures Oman Order for Advanced Naval Training Ship

• Swan Defence and Heavy Industries (SDHI) has secured an export order from the Oman Government for a training ship.
• The vessel is designed to support the Royal Navy of Oman's advanced naval training and maritime operations.
• Delivery of the training ship is expected within 18 months, reinforcing India's indigenous shipbuilding capabilities.
• The 104.25-meter vessel will feature modern classrooms, training offices, accommodation, an auditorium for 70 officer cadets, and advanced navigation and communication systems.
• It will also have the capability to conduct helicopter operations, highlighting its comprehensive training features.
