Thiruvananthapuram Airport Boosts Firefighting with New Rosenbauer Panther Tenders

• Thiruvananthapuram Airport inducted three Rosenbauer Panther crash fire tenders to enhance Aircraft Rescue and Firefighting (ARFF) capabilities.
• Each Panther tender features a 700 HP engine, accelerating 0-80 km/h in under 30 seconds for rapid response.
• Vehicles are equipped with 12,500 litres of water, 1,500 litres of foam, and 250 kg of dry chemical powder.
• Mr Amber Dubey and Mr Rahul Bhatkoti commissioned the new additions, reinforcing focus on safety.
• The airport also announced a Winter Schedule 2025 with a 22% increase in weekly flight operations, reaching 732 ATMs.
