UP: Couple arrested for stabbing father to death over family dispute

• Mukesh Yadav (24) and Pushpa Devi (22) arrested for allegedly stabbing Mukesh's father, Lalji Yadav (48), to death.
• Incident occurred in Bhagwanpur village, Ballia, following a family dispute after Pushpa Devi complained of harassment by in-laws.
• Mukesh also stabbed his brothers, Rakesh and Govind, when they tried to intervene.
• Lalji Yadav was declared dead at Sonbarsa hospital; his brothers are undergoing treatment.
• Case registered under sections 103(1) (punishment for murder) and 109 (attempt to murder) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita; knife recovered.
