• Amol Baban Bachche (33) was severely beaten with wooden sticks and an iron rod after confronting individuals who he believed were abusing his father.
• The accused, Lahu Bachche, Papesh Bachche, Bharat Bachche, and Pradip Bachche, misunderstood Amol's father's abuse towards his mother as being directed at them.
• Amol sustained serious injuries and was threatened with death during the attack.
