Wayanad Landslide Survivors Get New Homes: Kerala CM to Inaugurate Township Feb 25

• Kerala CM Pinarayi Vijayan announced the inauguration of the first phase of Kalpetta township for 2024 Mundakkai-Chooralmala landslide survivors on February 25.
• 175 beneficiaries will receive houses and 178 will get title deeds in the initial phase.
• The project fulfills the government's promise to those who lost everything, despite challenges and attempts to sabotage the initiative.
• The CM highlighted the collective effort of government employees, citizens, and youth in building the township, calling it a symbol of the state's willpower and resilience.
• A total of 327 beneficiaries will be provided with land and houses before the next monsoon, ensuring full rehabilitation.
