West Asia Crisis: 3 Indian Seafarers Killed, 1 Missing; 4 Injured

Three Indian seafarers have been killed and one is missing amid the ongoing crisis in West Asia.
•
Out of 78 Indian seafarers on foreign vessels attacked, four sustained injuries but are stable.
•
Rajesh Kumar Sinha, Special Secretary, Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways, provided the update.
•
The Ministry is monitoring the Persian Gulf situation, strengthening preparedness and interacting with stakeholders.
•
Major ports have been advised to coordinate with Customs and DGFT for relief in port charges.
