West Bengal Polls: Congress Releases 9 More Candidates, Replaces One

Congress announced its second list of nine candidates and one replacement for the West Bengal Assembly polls.

The party has now declared a total of 293 candidates for the 294-member Assembly.
•
Prem Chowdhury replaced Sanjay Sarkar from the Gazole (SC) constituency.
•
Sitting MLA Quazi Abdur Rahim, who recently joined Congress from TMC, will contest from Baduria.
•
West Bengal Assembly elections are scheduled for April 23 and 29, with vote counting on May 4.
