Humayun Kabir to Resign from Trinamool MLA Post, Contest Elections with New Party

Suspended MLA Humayun Kabir announced he will resign from his Trinamool MLA post next Monday.
•
He will submit his resignation at the Assembly at 12 noon and then file nominations for his new party, Am Janata Unnayan Party.
•
Kabir plans to contest from two constituencies: Rejinagar and Naoda, and will field candidates in other Murshidabad seats.
•
He announced candidates for Domkal, Jalangi, Nabagram, and Khargram constituencies.
•
Kabir claimed his party will contest most constituencies in Murshidabad and aims to gather one lakh people in Naoda after Abhishek Banerjee's rally.
