Women's Job Representation Soars 19% YoY in India: foundit Report
•Women's representation in Indian job postings surged 19% year-on-year, marking a strong expansion, according to foundit's 'Women in the Indian Workforce 2026' report.
•Hiring expanded significantly across senior roles, higher salary brackets, and emerging technology positions, indicating a notable shift in employer intent.
•Tier II and III cities now account for 44% of women-represented job postings (up from 41%), with Jaipur, Coimbatore, Indore, and Kochi emerging as fastest-growing hubs.
•Representation increased in IT (34%), Sales & Business Development (16%), Marketing & Communications (16%), and emerging tech roles (31%).
